FORMATIVE MONITORING AND ASSESSMENT, OSF

The goal of this project was the development of a model to introduce formative assessment and pilot it in six elementary schools. The activities included: developing the “Formative assessment” module for professional development of teachers, educating 30 teachers from six selected elementary schools to implement the formative assessment strategies, exchanging experiences through Professional Learning Communities (PLC), as well as preparing the handbook ‘Formative Assessment’.

The pilot programme for introducing formative assessment in 6 elementary schools in the Republic of Croatia concluded with a conference “Formative Assessment - An Opportunity, Not an Illusion”.
